Tickets for our show in Köln (12th June) will be on sale on the opening events of "Indienwoche 2012", for example on 9th June in Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum, http://www.museenkoeln.de/rautenstrauch-joest-museum/default.asp or via eMail to plotpourritheater[at]gmail.com

Devadasi - Zusammenfassung / Synposis
Was enthüllt der Traum? Was verbirgt die Nacht? Zwei junge Frauen, die
etwas verbindet.
What does the dream reveal? What is hidden in the night? Two young
women who are connected to each other
Was die eine nur ahnt, ist für die andere schmerzliche Realität. Denn ihre
Stellung ist herausgehoben, aber in dieser Stellung ist sie ohne Schutz.
Am Tag vollführt sie den Tanz zu Ehren des Gottes, dem ihr Leben geweiht
wurde. In der Nacht verändert sich alles für die beiden Frauen. Die eine
findet etwas, die andere verliert etwas – sich selbst.
One of them has a vague perception of what is the painful reality for the
other. Because her position is special, but in this position she is without
shelter. In the daytime she performs the dance to honour the God, to
whom her life was dedicated. At night, something changes for both
women. One finds something, the other one loses something – herself.

The Press Conference - 8th December 2011
With one last show on 8th of December we say goodbye to our successful play "The Press Conference". Thanks to the whole team and to our audience who gave us the motivation to start a new project soon!

The Press Conference - 28th May 2011
For the fourth performance of our play "The Press Conference" we travelled to Münster to become part of the "grenzfrei" festival - an event against racism and discrimination. This performance was a challenge in many ways: a new stage (in a culture pub), only little lightning equipment and a totally unknown audience. Would it be succesfull again? The answer is a clear YES! Moreover, the trip to Münster was a whole lot of fun and brought the group closer together. Here are a few impressions...

The Press Conference - 17th May 2011
After the success of the first two shows, the Euro Theater invited us for an additional show in May. Our cast was slightly changed, and we realized one thing: every new show is a new adrenaline rush!
The Press Conference - 31st March 2011
The Press Conference - a play about the human side of political seperations, about crossing borders, about lessons of history. The ticket money was donated to the flood victims in Pakistan, more precisely to the equipping of a school in the affected region.
Our second show in Euro Theater Central Bonn was just as successful as the premiere show... thanks to our supporters and our audience!
